This work is a response to the current political climate. It is about taking up space and being true to who you are even in the face of fear. Under these large paintings are messages that are written in deep meditation about strength, equality, love, & advocacy. In the slide show you will see the layers upon layers of painting that push the image “beyond words” to create a moment of silence in the abstraction.
